In 1967 two brothers Zakir and Tahir Rashid Khan bought their first camera, a DIANA{HKK make}. The first picture exposed was of a 1400hp ALCO with a freight train near KC. It was because they had a great liking for the trains. Then down the line this duo traveled a lot in the loco's cab & adding to their collection of train pics. From 1971-75 while they were at Lahore, pursuing a degree in Mech. engg, they foot plated extensively on the LHR-RWP & LHR-KWL sections with their friends; M.Y PERVAIZ & FAYYAZ GILL. A section is designated to the photographs of that period. After graduation Tahir left for the Middle East & Zakir tied the knot in 1980. Till 1990 both remained aloof, and only in 1991 Tahir suggested videographying the train. The work picked up again and in 1994 a new rail fan Syed Fahim Hussain aka Roomi joined the party with his videocam. About 3 years later Wasim Akhtar Bhatti came in with his expertise at model fabrication, and at the same time covering the happenings in the central & northern Punjab. With so much train data with us we decided to launch a website in order to disseminate this knowledge to the rail fans. How far we have succeeded in our mission will be for YOU to decide.
